Yeah, by now most of you have heard about Republican Representative Joe Wilson standing up and calling chairman maobama a liar by hollering "You Lie!"

Now, I wasn't a major 'W' supporter either, but if memory serves, the damned 'liberals' heckled him frequently and without apology, but now they are demanding Representative Joe Wilson be censured. Hmmm.

Some say he shouldn't have done that on the floor of the house, but I disagree. If anyone, even POTUS is going to stand there and lie to the Legislative Branch and the American People, then I believe it is the duty of those in attendance to expose that lie, and the liar right then and there.

Representative Joe Wilson's congressional website is down (probably due to traffic), and you can be sure that the ACORN goons are flooding him with hate mail.

I for one emailed him to thank him for what he did. I think we need more people in government to discover they 'have a set', reach down, grab 'em, and stand up to the lies and bull wherever and whenever it presents itself.

To me it's not that clear cut, was it proper even though it was done in the past, no. BUT, I am glad someone had the stones to point out that he was lying, or "being vague" to his face. Did anyone notice the POTUS nervous tic (involuntary elbow jumping out like a wing flapping) half a second after the "you lie"? I have seen it before occasionally when a tough question or statement is made. For some reason I never put it all together until now. My humble opinion, he has a baaaaad poker face. Good thing running a country doesn't require poker like tactics :roll:. Pay attention whenever he speaks, I bet you will see it sooner or later.

I voted no on this poll that it was inappropriate. However, I sent an email of support and a few bucks to his campaign fund. I do not think the outburst was appropriate but I still support the sentiment.

I agree with your assessment. He had to sit there and listen to Obama pretty much call all of the Republicans liars.

Although I agree if Wilson wanted to be heard and get by Pelosi and her commrades, it had to be done. However, appropriate decorum is a mandate (no matter what anyone else did previously). That is one of my great fears that once the voters restaff the Senate and Congress that those elected will behave irresponsible based on previous precedent and be just as much a milestone around our necks as the current administration.
Right, wrong or indifferent what Wilson had to object to was in fact truthful, the absence of any specificity addressing the issue of illegals getting monies and such would be automatically feasible and given all we have witnessed thus far probable.
Every Republican should have walked out as the Dems began to ridicule Wilson, he was correct that no additional apologies were necessary.
Racism - this issue has began to bore me, sadly it makes any legitimate issues relating to racisim negligable.

I think what you wrote is racist. :wink:. On a serious note, I agree with you. I cannot believe people are even entertaining the downpour of "racist" statements. If this is so, then why were people behind him until he went back on some of his promises, healthcare, until people started looking into people he has hired etc. In my view, it is very dangerous as some people listen to this racist bs, don't think about arguments openly, and then knowingly or unknowingly contribute to the race anger and division. Plus people are forgetting racism goes all ways, it does not just apply to white people. Nothing good will come of this for any side or anyone. I find it disgusting that these representatives and news contributers white, black, pink etc are using this tactic without thinking what effect it is having and will have on the younger people. All they will see in their youth is racial hatred, and they will remember.
