Butt cap removal tool

I had purchased an earlier version which I find to be adequate for my needs. However, given the choice, this updated version appears to be more promising. Either way, I found the earlier version to be well made and will last me a long time.

I bought one of these tools and 5 minutes after getting it out of the mail box I had the butt cap off. I was about to buy a new lower. The butt cap just was not coming off. I thought SIG had used a whole bottle of locklite on it. I tried a torch with no luck. My SBR project was at a stand still. I love this little tool. Worked great for me. Thanks.
