I was trying to get the front sight off of a new 556 classic rifle the other day and the sight broke. Do you think Sig will replace the part?

You got nothing to lose by trying to get them to replace it. Make that call. I'm curious as well.

I left a voicemail for a CS rep after hours today. I'm thinking that they will probably replace it since the gun is brand new and they put these damn things on way too snugly. I'm guessing it isn't the first one to snap during removal.

They have been very reasonable with me. They have repaired or replaced anything that has gone wrong with my 556 ltd Commando.

1. tightened upper and lower receiver, replaced extractor and spring.

2. sent me a new folding mechanasm when the original clip fell off the pivot pin and the parts flew into space.

I have been very happy with their customer service. I have heard bad things from others about their service, but, I have had nothing but "EXCELLENT" service from them.

And my Sig 556? It is awsome in tactical rapid fire moving drills. Like shooting a 22lr. No recoil. I LOVE this weapon.
