Whatever you're paying just be glad you're able to legally acquire full 30-round mags. I paid $30 each for a pair of modified California-legal 10/30 Magpuls.

I know I just feel so dirty paying a little premium for mags right now ESP HK mags BUT i dont like putting all my eggs in one basket so i like having a few of each from different brands

Heard from where?

There was a widely known recall in the summer of 2007 for "dimensional issues" ( I believe that's what they called it) but I've not heard of anything more recent. AFAIK, Magpul has removed that recall notice from their site and I think they would surely post a notice of any subsequent recalls.
