Update - I must be the first to try it, judging from the lack of responses, and can report that it does work....barely...the clearance from the side swivel attachments narrowly clears the back of the receiver, but with a careful installation it snugs right up and look pretty decent. Fit and finish is good, and it seems sturdy enough...I'm waiting for my MS2 to arrive to check the sling attachment and strength...

Will this Troy adapter fit on a Sig 556 Ltd Commando? It came with the Magpul CTR 3 position stock, fitted with the Sig folding mechanism.
I need an attachment that will work with the new Magpul tactical sling.

The Troy slide on sling adapter referred to above will definitely not clear the folding mechanism as pictured here (http://www.phossil.com/thom/SIG%20556%2 ... ht%202.jpg), now I have not seen one in person so I can't say if you could modify the mechanism to accept this adapter (http://www.skdtac.com/Troy_M16A4_Rifle_ ... ro.310.htm) or the Magpul ASAP plate, but I have a feeling it can't.

My MS2 arrived and I can report it works great in the single point mode with the Troy sling adapter, the Troy has not slipped or rotated at all.

I found a sling adapter plate from Northeast Tactical that is designed specifically for the Sig folding stock(not the classic). It works with HK hook, snap hook, and the Magpul sling connections.
