The attention has been pulled away from the SIG and redirected toward the competitors' $2200 to $2600 platforms. This is awesome for me, b/c SIG556 will drop a little in price on the shelves.

Current prices are around the $1200-$1500 range right now correct? I have seen them from dealers at these prices at alot of places.

Well, none of us were correct.
Turns out that the ACR is plummeting in price. it fell in 6 weeks from 2399 to 2250 to 2199 to now 1999.
Soon it will be at the price that Magpul intended. 1500

That's for the ACR basic. The ACR enhanced, with the folding adjustable stock is still $2400-2600. There's one on Gunbroker right now for a whopping $3000.
