I was thinking of putting Classic Swiss style Hanguard on My 556 SWAT to lighten up the front end a bit so is there anything I need besides the Handguard to make the switch?

No, it is just a simple swap out. (As a plus, you would now be able to add a bayonet lug)

He could now. I have a bayonet lug on my SWAT. CoGunsales sells one that is milled to fit.
