Came across this page while looking for something entirely different.

Unless it's a typo, it lists a SIG CLASSIC as NIB for $899.00

Go to:

http://www.dallasguns.com/index.asp?cat=1

Scroll down the page and you will see it.

Funny thing is, a little further down is a non-classic SIG in FDE for $2000.00

How is this possible? I know demand has been waning as the economy puts pressure on non-essentials (non-essential to some) but this can't be right.

I would not do a FTF for that price with out some serious protection its either a typo or a set up. IMO

so I emailed the seller and this is the response I got back.....

Hi there,

Here is the name and address where you can send the ffl copy and Money Order: Victor Hugo Espinoza Guzman; 2535 S Millard Ave, Chicago IL 60623. $930 shipped is the total amount. I will ship the gun in a good hard box, by UPS and I will also include a copy of my drivers license inside the box, for your ffl dealer. Please email me after you mail the ffl copy and MO so that I can know when to expect it. You can also email me if you have other questions.

Thank you,
Vic

I dont know if this is real or not but it seems too good to be true.

Did the same here and received the almost exact e-mail. I emailed him again to see if he would do a COD upon inspection to the FFL and allow my buddy to inspect it before I give out any money. I suspect this is a hoax/scam, but what if? We shall see....

Cheap 556

Dealer pricing is pretty low right now, one Huge Distributor is running a Buy any 556 get a 522 Free. Coupled with the Rebate a month back or so, or the LEO/Law Enforcement Officer Rebate, that makes the 556 way under 1k. I don't have an FFL, but I know some guys that do. They only charge for the paperwork involved. Basically I order the gun and it is shipped to my FFL Dealer. So, $899 is not far fetched, US Postal Money Orders are covered for Fraud, plus it's a Felony due to firearms, FFL License, interstate, etc. It was an awesome deal for someone quick enough to purchase it. You just have to understand that not everyone pays MSRP, and that FFL Dealers have buddies that don't pay MSRP. Look at some of the parts and accessories that are posted brand new way below MSRP, they got the items at or close to dealer cost.
