Need Fin advice...

Hello all, I am new to the long gun family. I live in the wonderful state of California, and will need to conform to the local regs if I want to stay out of trouble. I own a Sig Swat Patrol, chambered in 5.56. I need to figure out what generation I have so that I can purchase a hand grip fin. Can anyone direct me as to how to figure out my generation?

Sigs all use the same grip unless you have the much latter 556xi. What generation it is shouldn't matter. Good luck.
