I like Leatherwood. I have an ARTII scope made by them in the 80's, can't speak more highly of them. This offering looks like good competition for the DMS-1 scope. The reticle looks nice as well.

I'm looking for a medium priced short to medium range scope for my 556 does anyone know about Leatherwood I found this on SWAFA and it seems to have all the right features.

...IMO...it's a great value for the money...the Leatherwood is comprable to the Millet 1-4 X 24 DMS in quality...both are made in China...and there's nothing wrong with that...

Some on Ar15.com think that they are both made in the same factory...
