Members of Congress that voted for the Health Care Bill and their families reportedly receiving death threats.

This is reprehensible and should be dealt with immediately. We must defeat them at the ballot box.

I agree 100%. There are nutjobs all over the place calling for violence right now. This is the way of third world countries. This is the United States of America for Christs sake. If people aren't happy with the way things are going they need to first educate themselves about the TRUE root of the problem, and then educate others. Most of these "outraged Americans" don't even have any idea what the hell is really going on behind the scenes, and want to go berserk on the symptoms, when they have no idea what the disease is. You simply CAN NOT harm other Americans, especially those in leadership positions because you disagree with them. Mahatma Ghandi once said "Be the change you want to see." Do you want to see Nazi Germany style Gestapo kicking in doors, because if people go off the deep end that is what they will get.

Join Campaign for Liberty, End the Fed, We Are Change, and other peaceful non co-opted non-controlled groups that ARE making massive headway by building media and networking programs that are exposing the corruption within our American framework.

Join peaceful States Rights groups that will reform election laws and regulations so that REAL Americans can gain entry to elected positions to make the changes we want to see.

90% of Law Enforcement officers and even more members of the Military want the exact same changes that most Americans want to see. Why would someone endanger and alienate fellow Americans who MUST maintain order...........because they feel endangered and alienated? See, "be the change you want to see."

For all of the contempt I feel for those who betray their oaths to uphold our Constitution, lets work to get back to a paper ballot system and remove them from office peacefully, and if it merits the further action, hold them accountable by a lawful and orderly jury of their peers.

I agree, changes should *always* be made at the ballot box, and I do *not* encourage any form of violence as a means for political change. However, we shouldn't be surprised if violence erupts as the result of our representatives completely ignoring the overwhelming will of the people. Our representatives need to have a healthy fear that the people will hold them to account for their actions. Especially when they turn their backs on us.

Unfortunately, there have been times in our history when the ballot box has failed:

Eleanor Roosevelt on the battle of Athens said:
When the people decide that conditions in their town, county, state or country must change, they will change them. If the leadership has been wise, they will be able to do it peacefully through a secret ballot which is honestly counted, but if the leader has become inflated and too sure of his own importance, he may bring about the kind of action which was taken in Tennessee.
These are very scary times we live in. It kinda makes that whole issue with paying a tax on tea seem rather trivial, doesn't it?

You know how easy it is for any socialist liberal to make a death threat in the name of the tea party movement. Doesn't it seem kind of "convienient" for all this racism and death threats to be happening now, to take away the momentum of the conservative people and deflect attention away from what they are doing. I don't believe a word they say..period

The libtards are trying to energize their base by saying this stuff.

Everyone who is anyone gets threats. My boss at my previous job told me in confidence about all the threats and black mail attempts he would get. He used to file them away in a safe (thats not what I would do, but I don't run/own a billion dollar company either).

Anyway, the Democrats rule by fear, and if they tell the little old white haired ladies, and the gronola's that someone is directing "hate" and neanderthal violance toward them, they get all excited.

I, personally, know that violence is not proper, not here, not in the tradition of the USA.

However, I would like to see the congress critters tarred, feathered and rode out of town on a rail personally, a grand American tradition that sadly seems to have died out around the turn of last century.

Stupidity should hurt, and in my opinion, believing in "redistribution of wealth", "spreading it around", nanny-ism, nazism, communism, etc, are as stupid as you could possibly get.

Not to mention they are lawyers on top of that...

That actually makes a lot of sense.

Threats are a form of intimidation; a way to try to effect someone into doing something they might otherwise not do. I could see that some law makers might receive death threats before the vote, but it makes no sense to make them after the vote.

If someone actually wanted to do harm to a congressman, they would just try do it. I doubt very much they would call it in to them first. This smells very much like another way to discredit the tea party movement, just like the they did with the racism accusations.

That being said, there's a great deal of anger over what happened. And that anger might already be at the point of boiling over for some. If I was a member of congress that voted for this, I'd definitely be keeping my head down.

And the left has the highest count of domestic violence/terrorism. But the media shall forget about that during this craziness.

Although I do believe it is possible that some Americans see what has been done to them and what is coming their way and thus are incredibly angry and capable of making stupid threats, I have to say that I believe the majority of these are likely staged or 'false flag' if you will, in order to garner sympathy/support and in an attempt to divert attention from the fact that they ignored the most sacred man made document in history and the people by who's consent they are required to govern.

Change the focus from the crimes (yes, I believe they committed CRIME by voting for socialism) they committed to "Oh no, pity me - I've been threatened, someone threw a brick through the window of one of my many offices".

We must remove them from office. We must do it peacefully. We must use the ballot box- not the bullet box.

If this does spill into violence, that could be the impetuous for a nationwide crack-down/gun grab.
