Should a perfectly functioning SANs 552 lower work with my sig 556 upper?

Going to get the 552 parts kit but want to be sure it's plug n play...I know the upper would take quite a bit of work but am just concerned about the lower.

    Thanks

It's not exactly plug and play but as long as you swap the fire control group from your semi-auto lower into the 552 lower and remove the release bar that is pinned to the right side of the lower it will work.

Ok.... So all I need is a 556 trigger group?
Is the pin removal and and install difficult or pretty easy?
    Do I need a dremel/ what tools?

    Thanks

It's pretty easy to swap out, all you need is a steel punch and some small needle nose to remove the ring that clamps the release bar to the receiver.

Let me know if you want to part ways with the 552 Swiss fire control group.
