Never seen it before. Where did you get the pics from? That'd probably be the best place to ask. Either way, it looks like an AR stock that mimics the swiss folder look since it appears to attach to the receiver extension tube hole in some capacity.

I found the pictures while perusing the web for SIG 550. There was no response from either of the posters. They look like some version of the extendable stocks found on 553's and appear to only be attached to the American early lower receiver that accepts buffer tube stocks. Anyway an interesting vignette/mystery in this hobby.

FAMAE made some licensed SIG copies in Chile and that might be the source. I've not ever seen those from Swiss outlets so it's either a specific M4 slip-on design for the US market guns from Sig-Exeter or it's a special run from someone with ability to make them. Proper molds are $100K for injection molding so not an easy thing to make.

Somebody needs to make that stock.

Looks like it's on a early Sig 556 lower. The STANAG San Swiss Sigs don't have the characteristic STG-44 like lines (on the magwell) that the early US-made Sig 556's had.

Somebody ought to make that stock, it looks great on the early Sig 556's.

MFI made those stocks and the repro 553 handguards to fit the P556/556 Patrol length. Airsoft quality, not Swiss quality
