I have heard that Hogue is coming out with a nice grip for the 556 - has anyone seen, heard or have one?

The Hogue Overmolded pistol grip for the Sig 556 combines the durability of a fiberglass core with the comfort of rubber overmolding. The palm swells fill the hand and improve the comfort over the standard grip and the unique texture ensures a solid grip in any condition.

So in that second link, I see that the 556 in the pic has a round fore grip. Anyone know what that is?

I knew it had to be a 522, don't see how they could have done that with the piston.

My stock grip on my 556 SWAT is too...cumbersom? I dont know what it is but its too wide or something? I have no problem on my REC7 reaching the safety, mag release, etc. but man is it a pain on my SIG. And I've got big hands too. Wish I could get a better grip (more narrow).

It better not be vaporware! Does anyone have any insight into this?

Why dont they put them out in at least one color if not the full color range until after a long time? I have a finger groove grip from them thats not mean for the 556 and is eve a little slippery but totally acceptable but tis green and I like it. Id love to get this grip but Im an aesthetic person, too.

Lets face it, we all bought Sigs, there's an aesthetic aspect to this rifle to be respected...right?
