For the most part my front adjustment screw sits snug against the gas block mount and stays where it should when firing.

But when adjusting it at certain points there's a point in which it gets lose until you rotate it past that point.

Example. I rotate it one or two complete turns clockwise, if i then do a slight 1/4 turn counter clockwise, there's a point in the tension where its lose until I turn it more.

Is this normal?

...if the front sight doesn't drift while shooting...i wouldn't be concerned...you might have a little circumferential dimensional variance in the treaded portion of the shaft...not a biggie...
