"In October 2009, firearms and ammunition excise tax collection climbed 45 percent from the previous fiscal year, the greatest annual increase in the firearms tax revenue in the agency's history, the report said. By comparison, the average annual increase for fiscal years 1993 to 2008 was 6 percent."

ROTFLMAO!

Firearms salesman of the year - I Love it!

Honestly, I think they'll probably raise those taxes again and again, and as much as they can. Especially after chairman maobama's comments at the g20. They were discussing America's debt and deficits and he said he would "start presenting some very difficult choices to the country".

My guess is leaning towards major tax increases.

On separate note, am I the only one that thinks it's wrong for taxes on Gun and ammunition to be included in 'sin' taxes?
