I voted for the 3x, as that's what I have. It's enough for the smaller distances that I normally shoot at.

...in my opinion mounting a magnifier along with the eotech makes the carbine waaaay to top heavy...considering the eotech has a good return to zero when remounted...and the larue SPR mounts also....i would consider getting a low power variable such as the leupold 1.5-5x30 Mark 4 MR/T and mount it in a larue SPR mount...now you'll be able to "reach out" with pricision...

Good choice. The 3X is really 3.25 and the 4X 3.75 saving $200-$250 bucks for only .50 increase
