the 551 style cheek risers are hard to comeby but they will fit a classic stock I believe. The wont interfere with the fold I wouldnt thing.

The airsoft ones fit... they might not be real sig but they work.

Do you have a link as to where they can be purchased?

The cheek piece doesn't fold on the 556 because the mag-release and magwell interfere.
It does, however, clear the charging lever and ejection port (same upper).

During running drills mine got nocked off by gear with the stock in the extended position.
Going to switch to a lower mount and a cheek weld to my stock.

you need to remove it to fold, also, in order to fit correctly to the collapsing side-folder it needs to be modified as the dimensions are different than the older non collapsing side-folder.
I dont have to remove mine. Its an airsoft version.

Are you guys making that airsoft riser work on the Swiss folder or the classic folder/ collapser? I'd like to pick one up if it works on the US made classic stock. Also, do you guys have a link?

I purchased one of the airsoft risers a few weeks ago. I don't really like it; it's too flimsy for my taste and seems like it's just waiting to fall off with a good jolt. I'm probably going to remove it or throw it on the 522.

The Sig 550 series cheek riser sold for airsoft guns will pop onto the US made Sig classic stock. The front of it would need to be trimmed to moved it forward from the fully extended position though. If you tilt the front up, it will come forward to collapse to the two shorter positions but the lines of it no longer match the gun. It is a high cheek weld so only get it if you have optics mounted way up there. You cannot get down far enough to get a sight picture on low irons like the Auroras with this cheek riser on.

Some different angles on the modded airsoft cheek riser. It still needs some dremel work on the underside to drop about 1/4" lower on the front end...
