the plunger is second stage. (faux 2nd). The stages don't refer to the order of operation, the plunger isn't the 1st stage because the trigger touches it first, its the second stage in the lineage of trigger development. any trigger without a 2nd stage will always be a single stage trigger.

Interesting. The take up travel has never bothered me anyway. I wouldn't mind a lighter trigger pull though. But even that has never been something that bothered me. I noticed there was someone on here selling something to lighten the pull. Have people here found that a worthwhile upgrade?

The kit by Sorro556 is an excellent kit but I think it goes too light. I think replacing the plunger spring with a lighter one is enough. Any I haven't seen Sorro or his eBay store, Honeycut, active for almost a year. You might ask Art at Shooting sight if he knows what Matt in Germany is up to.

Sven at Manticore hasn't been lurking on the Sig 556 forum since he got out of making 556 products. I think any stock he has is old production and marked down for sale. I know a member I did a trade with, long story but he got my scorpion grip and prob will sell it to you cheap, if he isn't using it. LMK

I would get a Hogue with finger grooves for SBR/ pistol shooting or smooth for rifle. You will like it. If the angle doesn't bother you, the Sig grip isn't bad either.

The Hogue with finger grooves looks very nice. Does it bring your fingers any closer to the safety and mag release than the stock grip?
